The landscape here is part of our identity. Seeing such large industrial structures placed across our hills changes the character of our region forever. I want future generations to enjoy the same rural beauty we grew up with.
Our animals are sensitive to changes in their environment. With turbines planned so close to our grazing areas, I’m concerned about how the noise and vibrations might disrupt their behaviour and welfare.
We’ve farmed this land for generations. The proposed turbines will sit just a few hundred meters from our home. We’re worried about how the constant noise and shadows might affect our family, our livestock, and our way of life.
